William L. Anderson, 44, departed his life on Friday, September 9, 2016 at Palmetto Health Tuomey Hospital, Sumter. Born in Sumter County, August 10, 1972, he was the son of the late Isaac and Francis Spain Anderson. “Johnny”, as he was known, attended Sumter County public schools and Central Carolina Technical College. He was employed by ESG Company. He leaves to cherish his memories: one son, Jayden Douglas-Anderson of Columbia; one daughter, Jessica Johnson of Lugoff; two grandchildren, Justin and Savanna Johnson of Lugoff; two uncles, Henry Spain of Rembert and Jimmy Swanson of Fort Lauderdale, FLA; five aunts, Virginia (Mack) Leonard, Maggie (Eddie) Glover of Rembert, Martha Butler, Mary and Bernice Anderson, all of Sumter; one god daughter, Mary "Jazz" Thomas of Rembert; special cousins, Antoin, Bernard, Derrick, Tremekia, Schavona, Bridgett and Kayla, whom he grew up with; special friends, Charlie Lawson, Andre Lawson, Steven Thomas, Quentiun Edwards, Mathew Holliday, Delander Henley; a host of other very special family and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 17, 2016, 11:00 a. m. from the St. Mark 4 B. Missionary Baptist Church, 2280 Four Bridges Road, Sumter, with Pastor Sammie D. Simmons, pastor, eulogist. The family is receiving relatives and friends at the home, 7855 Edwards Street, Rembert. The procession will leave from the home at 10:20 a. m. Floral bearers and pall bearers will be family and friends. Burial will be in the St. Mark 4B. Missionary Baptist Churchyard Cemetery, Sumter.
