Born August 3, 1934, in Bishopville, she was the daughter of the late Reverend Luke and Hattie McDaniel. Hattie was nurtured in the beauty of the early Holiness pioneers in the beginning of the 20th Century and accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. After several moves in New Jersey, Hattie eventually settled in Brooklyn, NY, where she returned to her Holiness roots and joined the Faith Temple Church of God in Christ. Subsequently, she assisted her sister, Pastor Lelea I. Amacker and brother-in-law, the late Elder Homer C. Amacker start a new church in Brooklyn, the New Covenant Church of God in Christ, Inc. She leaves to mourn: four daughters, Queen Esther Williams of Brooklyn, NY, Cleo Marie Jackson (Elder Arnold Jackson, Sr.) of Amityville, NY, Michelle Williams of Brooklyn, NY, and Cecelia Williams of Newark, NJ; her sister, Pastor Lelea I.
