Wilson Seon Green, 55, departed this earthly life on Sunday, December 24, 2017, at Palmetto Health Tuomey Hospital, Sumter. Born July 23, 1962, in Sumter County, he was the son of the late Wilson and Emma Jones Green. He received his formal education in the public schools of Thomasville, NC. He was a graduate of Maywood High School. He was employed for 17 years with Santee Prints as a supervisor and 13 years with Gold Kist as a forklift driver. He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Annie Carter Green of Sumter; his adopted mother, Rosa Lee G. Ford; his children, Nicole Phillips (Stanley), Curtis Green, Tiffany Green, Whitney Green, and JoeAnn Carter, all of Sumter, Charles Carter (Shonda) of Youngsville, NC, Elonda Dukes (Troy) of Atlanta, GA, Gregory Carter (Renee) of Sumter; his step mother, Julia Green of Summerton; his brothers, Tony Ford (Nicole) of Thomasville, NC, Reggie Ford (Shama) of Charleston; sisters, Essie Juanita Vinson (Travis) of Highpoint, NC, Ruby Renee Green of Troy, ALA, and Elizabeth Dallas of Thomasville, NC; one uncle, Robert Green, and one aunt, Lillian Frierson, both of Sumter; eighteen grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family is receiving relatives and friends at the home, 780 Reid Roman Road, Sumter. Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 29, 2017, 1 p. m. from the Congruity Presbyterian Church, USA, 3750 Congruity Road, Gable, with the Rev. Alonza A. Washington, pastor, eulogist. The remains will be placed in the church at noon. The procession will leave the home at 12:20 p. m. Burial will be in Barfield Cemetery.
