Sophia Lorraine Fluellen Pearson, 40, was called home to her heavenly Father on Friday, June 5, 2009 at McLeod Medical Center, Florence. "Pudden", as she was affectionately known, was born in Newark, N. J. on October 23, 1968, she was a daughter of Bertha Spencer and the late Richard Fluellen.
Pudden was educated in the public schools of Sumter County and later graduated. She attended Chris Logan School of Cosmetology, which led her to become a licensed Cosmetologist. Her love and passion for hair care and people opened many doors of opportunity for her for several years and in several locations. She attended Central Carolina Technical College until her health failed. She was seeking an Associates of Art Degree. Her future goals involved attending Bible College in Georgia.
Pudden was raised in a Godly Christian home, and accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. During her youth, she joined her family Church, Good Hope United Methodist Church. She eventually ventured out on her own seeking spiritual knowledge and wisdom under ministerial leaderships. She was truly a servant of God and a loving individual. She fought a long, hard battle with the Lord holding her hand. She will truly be missed for the beautiful, loving, courageous and superior person she was and still is in Heaven.
