Winston E. Sullivan, 77, died Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Bishopville Manor, Bishopville. Born in Kingston, Jamaica, on March 20, 1935, he was the son of the late Cecil and Lillian Tomlinson Sullivan.
Winston worked as a carpenter and plumber for most part of his life. His last employment before retiring was with the maintenance department at Tuomey Hospital, Sumter, South Carolina.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his children, Michael, Hugo, and Peter Sullivan; one brother; four sisters; his grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a host nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 noon, Saturday, December 29, 2012 from the John Wesley Williams, Sr. Memorial Chapel, Williams Funeral Home, Inc., 821 North Main Street, Sumter, with the Reverend Dr. Ernest Jackson, officiating, eulogist.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a. m. to 12:00 noon in the John Wesley Williams, Sr. Memorial Chapel, Williams Funeral Home, Inc.
The family will receive friends at the home of his son, Michael Sullivan, 31 B. Martin Street, Sumter.
The Funeral procession will leave from the home of his son at 11:30 a. m.
