Y.  Soon after her calling to ministry, she founded and pastored Bible Way Holiness Church in Sumter until she became ill.  Her later church attendance was Lightwood Knot Deliverance under the leadership of Pastor Mary Price.

Because of dedication to the Will and Plan of God, Mother Johnson leaves a legacy of prayer and worship to be celebrate by three children, Kenneth (Hattie) Thomas, Evangelist Leola Johnson, and Lonnie (Dora Lee) Johnson; one adopted daughter, Susan Robinson;  one daughter-in-law, Mary P.
