Marvin Earl Wade, 59, departed this earthly life on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at Tuomey Health Care System, Sumter. Born July 22, 1955, in Sumter County, he was the son of the late Marion Wade, Sr. and Edna Louise Bolden Wade. He received his early education in the public schools of Sumter County. He worked for a short period at Miller Lumber Company, Camden. He was baptized in 1996 at Mt. Bethel Missionary Baptist Church and was a faithful member until his health failed. He lived at all times keeping with the standard set for him by his Master. Our hearts are filled with sorrow but we realize that his homegoing is the greatest experience of Marvinís life, which was filed with wonderful experiences as a worker for God. He leaves to cherish his memory: his sisters, Minnie (Sammie) Alston, Corine (Julius) Funchers and Juanita W. Boone, all of Rembert, Helen Jenkins of Pennsylvania, Meta (Bobby) Finch of Maryland; one brother, James M. Wade of Rembert; six aunts, Mary (Jacob) Moore, Martha Wright, Florence Bush, Myrteen King, and Annie M. W. Williams; two uncles, Simon R. Wade, Horace (Alberta) Wade; one sister-in-law, Katie Conyers; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by one brother, Marion Wade, Jr. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a. m., Saturday, July 18, 2015 from Mt. Bethel Baptist Church, 9250 Camden Highway, Rembert, with the Rev. Freddie Thomas, pastor, eulogist, assisted by the Rev. Anthony L. Taylor, Sr., Rev. Mamie Adamson, Rev. Clyde Grant, and Rev. Melia Stewart The family is receiving relatives and friends at the home, 5390 New Hope Church Road, Rembert. The Remains will be placed in the church at 10:00 a. m. The funeral procession will leave from the home at 10:20 a. m. Floral bearers will be Mt. Bethel Baptist Church Missionary. Pall bearers will be Mt. Bethel Baptist Church Trustees. Burial will be in the Mt. Bethel Baptist Churchyard Cemetery.
