Franklin R. Green, 79, died on Monday, April 29, 2019 at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital, Sumter. Born October 3, 1939, in Wayne County, NC, he was the son of the late George and Maggie Plate Green. He attended the public schools of Wayne County, NC. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and joined Ebenezer Presbyterian Church USA, Dalzell. He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Elouise Jackson Green; one sister, Mary Harrison of North Carolina; four sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; a devoted niece, Shirley Green of Sumter; and a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the home, 237 Woodlawn Avenue, Sumter. Homegoing Services will be held Saturday, May 4, 2019, 11 a. m., at the Ebenezer Presbyterian Church (USA), 4620 Queen Chapel Road, Dalzell, with the Rev. Carnell Hampton, Officiating, Eulogist. The Remains will be placed in the church at 10 a. m. for viewing until time of services. The funeral procession will leave at 10:30 a. m. from the home. Burial will be in the Ebenezer Presbyterian Church Yard Cemetery, Dalzell.
