Cleola A. Leneau, 88, daughter of the late Clifton and Frances Williams Andrews, was born on November 25, 1930 in Sumter County. She departed this earthly life on June 18, 2019 at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital, Sumter. She received her formal education at the Tindal School of Sumter. She joined Camaster Church at an early age. She was the wife of the late John Henry Leneau. She leaves to cherish her memories: five daughters, Viola Richburg, Janet Coleman, Carolyn Leneau, Henrietta Leneau and Evette Leneau; and one son, Leeroy Leneau, all of Sumter; one brother, Daniel (Betty) Andrews of Sumter; she also reared Barbara Johnson, Mischelle Leneau and Eric Leneau as her own; twenty nine grandchildren; forty five great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends to include Berneatha E. Williams. The family will receive relatives and friends at the home, 322 Lindley Avenue, Sumter. Celebration of Life Services will be held Tuesday, June 25, 2019, 2 p. m. at the Jehovah Missionary Baptist Church, 805 South Harvin Street, Sumter, with the Rev. Marion H. Newton, Pastor, Eulogist. The Remains will be placed in the church at 1 p. m. for viewing until time of service. The funeral procession will leave from the home at 1:20 p. m. Burial will be in the Bradford Cemetery.
