Johnnie Caldwell-White was called from labor to rest on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at her residence in Sumter. Born February 21, 1949, in Lee County, she was the daughter of the late Johnny and Louise Rufus Caldwell. She was educated in the public schools of Lee County and a 1967 graduate of Dennis High School. Upon graduation, she relocated to Patterson, NJ and began a career with State Farm Insurance where she worked over 30 years and retired from State Farm Insurance of Alpharetta, GA in 2007. She leaves to cherish her loving memories: her husband, Jerome M. White; one son, Sidney (Rhonica) Caldwell of Lithonia, GA; three step-children, Jerome Lowery and Ebony Green of Sumter, and Lavarie White of Florence; four grand-daughters; one grandson; six step grand children; two great grand children; five sisters, Jannie C. Johnson, Camden, Christine (James) McDaniel of Fayetteville, GA, Lula Mack, Dorothy Michaels and Betty Stuckey of Dalzell; one brother, Steve (Dorothy) Graham of Rembert; an adoptive brother, Albertus (Betty) Rufus of Kennesaw, GA; two brothers- in-Law, Bobby Lee Stuckey of Hinesville, GA and Lorenzo Mack of Louieville, GA; an amazing niece, Sandra; other relatives and friends. The family is receiving relatives and friends at the home, 4305 Queen Chapel Road, Sumter. Funeral services will be Thursday, August 1, 2019, 1:30 p. m. at the Spring Hill United Methodist Church, 446 Lloyd Road, Rembert with the Rev. Blondell Miller, pastor. The Remains will be placed in the church at 12:00 Noon The funeral procession will leave from the home at 12:20
