Ella Mae Robinson, 79, was born on January 8, 1941 in Sumter County to her parents, the late Henry and Essie Mae Wilson Robinson. She departed this life on Saturday, March 21, 2020, at her home. She was educated in the public schools of Sumter County and worked as a domestic worker for several families in the Sumter community during her life time. She like cooking and going to church. She was a member of The Church In The Lord Jesus Christ of The Apostles Doctrine, Inc. and was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and received the gift of the Holy Ghost. She was a faithful member of the Lynchburg Branch Church and continued until her health failed. She leaves to cherish her memories: her son, Leroy (Fannie) Robinson of Rembert; special daughter, Jada Robinson of Dalzell; one brother, Corneal Robinson of Sumter; two special brothers, Kenny Turner and Brian McLeod, both of Sumter; four sisters, Minnie Robinson, Sis. Elizabeth R. Addison, Sis. Catherine V. Robinson and Rebecca Robinson, all of Sumter; a special sister, Sabrina (Darrell) Mitchell of Atlanta, GA; three uncles, James, Robert and Elder Wilson, all of New Jersey; four aunts, Rovena, Sarah, and Ethel, all of New Jersey, Mattie of Sumter; a special aunt, Bertha McDuffie of Sumter; two sisters-in-law, Betty Robinson of Dalzell, Delois Burgess of New Jersey; special friends, Bro. Andy Green, Mr. Johnny Cook and Mr. Ervin McLeod; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; care taker, Emma Wells; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends including a large church family. The family will receive relatives and friends at the home, 3145 North Main Street, Sumter. Funeral Services will be held 3 p. m., Saturday, March 28, 2020 from The Church In The Lord Jesus Christ of The Apostles Doctrine, Inc., 2449 Calvary Road, Hartsville, with Bishop Joe C. Tisdale, Officiating, Eulogist. The procession will leave from the home at 2:00 p. m. Burial will be in the Church In The Lord Jesus Christ of The Apostles Doctrine, Inc. Cemetery.
