Barbara Farmer Green, 72, was born March 1, 1948 to the late Lampy and Beulah Johnson Farmer in Sumter. She departed this earthly life on July 17, 2020. She was educated in the public schools of Sumter County. She served her community as a home health care provider for 20 years. She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Willie Green of 36 years; nine children, Barbara Ann Ramos (Gilbert), Mary Ann Wright (Ernest), Clarice Green (Daniel), all of Sumter, Tracy Boatwright (Melisa) of Minnesota and Elliott Farmer of Sumter, Ebony Hall (Johnny) of Athens, GA, Yvette Ramsey (Quinton) of Sumter; two step daughters, Diary Robinson of Sumter and Brenda Collins of Connecticut; two brothers and a sister, Lampy Farmer, Jr. (Christine) of Anyor, Rodney Farmer of Columbia and Mary Ruth Maple of Wedgefield; twenty one grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family is requesting no visitation at the home. Graveside Services will be held 11 a. m., Monday, July 20, 2020 from the Bradford Cemetery, Highway 15 South, Sumter, with Minister John Johnson, officiating. The procession will leave at 10:20 a. m. from the home, 40 East Brewington Road, Sumter.
