Glenn Sanders “Bimpbimp”, son of the late John Thomas Sanders, Sr. and Mary Sue Wright Sanders, was born on March 25, 1963 in Sumter County. He departed this life on Sunday, November 29, 2020 at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital, Sumter. He received his education in the public schools of Sumter County. Glenn was a caring and loving father, brother, uncle and friend. He loved making you laugh and was very helpful to anyone who needed help. He had multiple skills which included: mechanic, carpenter, painter, plumber, electrician, landscaping. He enjoyed fishing. He leaves to mourn his memories: three sisters, Brenda S. White, Rosamary Sanders Drayton (James), Victoria Sanders (Eddie); three brothers, Rickey Glenn Sanders of North Philadelphia, PA, Gussie Sanders (Elizabeth) of Sumter, Curtis Sanders of Anderson; five daughters, Nyoka Martin and Glenda Cassandra Charles Sanders, both of Sumter, Gweendy Pearson, Trell Sanders and Marcella (Hakeen) Sanders, all of Manning; four sons, Glenn Sanders, Jr., Marcus (Charmaine) Sanders and Travin ( Brittany) Sanders, all of Manning, Quinlan Sanders of Sumter; thirty grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one uncle, Oliver “Sonny” Wilson; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In accordance with the COV19 guidelines, the family is requesting face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends during visitation from 2:00 – 5:00 p. m. at the home, 114 Brown Street, Sumter. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 5, 2020 – 2:00 p. m. in the John Wesley Williams, Sr. Memorial Chapel of Williams Funeral Home, Inc., 821 North Main Street, Sumter, with Elder James Drayton, Jr., eulogist. The procession will leave from the home at 1:30 p. m. Burial will be in the St. Paul Holiness Church Cemetery, Martin Town Road, Sumter.
