Henry Lee Harrington, who by many knew as “Dobb”, a son of the late David Stanley and Elouise Harrington Stanley, was born on September 18, 1951. He quietly and peacefully departed this life on January 1, 2022. Henry had a beautiful personality. He had a big heart that many people gravitated too. He enjoyed going out of his way to help others. He was the uncle to every child he encountered. He would always put a smile on your face with his unique demeanor. Henry understood the value of hard work. He was formerly employed with Hill Plumbing, Carter Brick Masonry and Shaw Lumber Company. He leaves to cherish precious memories: two daughters, Monique Harrington (Reginald) Primus of Sumter and Agnes Brunson of New York; a son, Terredrick Harrington of Sumter; two granddaughters, Kersten Primus and Aiyesha James; four grandsons, Rhykwon, Reginald II, Malik Primus and Sharod James; three great grandsons, Kai Johnson, Amir and Amius Coletane; two sisters, Beverly Stanley and Shirley Ann Stanley; three brothers, George, Clyde Harrington and David Stanley; several nieces,. nephews, other relatives and special friends. In accordance with the COVID-19 guidelines, the family is requesting face masks and social distancing be observed by relative and friends during all visitation at the home, 1761 Polaris Drive, Sumter. Funeral services will be held 11:30 a. m., Sunday, January 8, 2022 in the John Wesley Williams Sr. Memorial Chapel, 821 North Main Street, Sumter, with the Rev. Jacob McLeod, Officiating, Eulogist. The procession will leave from the home at 11:00 a. m.
