Sammie Lee Holloman departed this earthly life on Thursday, September 17, 2020 at McLeod Regional Medical Center, Florence. Born in Mayesville on October 30, 1965, he was the second oldest child born to Sarah and the late Sammie Lee Holloman, Sr. He was educated in the public schools of Sumter County and graduated from Maywood High School, Class of 1984. At an early age, he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Saviour and became a life-long member of St. Mark United Methodist Church in Mayesville. He was employed at Whitaker in Mayesville, V B Williams and Santee Print in Sumter. He was a dedicated father to his lovely daughter, Shaniqua Holloman and friend to his companion, Teresa Williams of the home. He leaves to cherish his memories: his daughter, Shaniqua Holloman of the home; a loving mother, Sarah Jane Holloman of Philadelphia, PA; four brothers, Willie Lee (Monique) Holloman of Sumter, Robert Holloman and Nathaniel (Leonora) Holloman of Mayesville, David (Kayla) Holloman of Philadelphia, PA; two nephews, Gabriel Wheeler and David Holloman, Jr.; four nieces, Sharde Witherspoon, LaShonda Veasey, Kadijah Holloman and Kelsey Holloman; and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. In accordance with COVID 19 guidelines, the family is requesting no visitation. Graveside Services will be held 1:00 p. m., today, Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at Mayesville Cemetery, Mayesville, with the Rev. Devon Wright, officiating. The procession will leave at 12:30 p. m. from 343 Wilson Street, Mayesville.
