Sheriece L. Coltrain, affectionately known as “Sheri”, was born May 13, 1987 to Juanita Wilson Coltrain, the third of four children. She departed this life on February 4, 2021. Sheri was a 2005 graduate of Crestwood High School. She was most recently employed by Apple as a technology representative. She loved horses and horseback riding. According to her adopted father, Jacob Dennis, sheri was his number one cowgirl among his members of The MLK Riders of South Carolina where she proudly rode her horse, Strawberry”. Sheri was also a devoted fan of her beloved Carolina Panthers. But what she loved most and with all her heart was her “Buddah”, her “momma”s baby boy, her best friend”, her son, Karter. She loved Karter more than anything on this earth. Sheri was a beautiful person inside and out, loved and admired very much by family and friends. She was a true fighter, fighting till the end. Precious and loving memories will be cherished by her mother, Juanita Wilson; a sister, Candace Smalls (Christopher); two brothers, Anthony Coltrain (Sharon), Eryk Wilson; five nieces, Alanna (affectionately called “Mini Me), Shamari, Arriel, Egypt and Aubrey; one nephews, Tyler; one maternal aunt, Deatrice Wilson; one paternal aunt, Regina Jones; two paternal uncles, Vernon Coltrain and Delmas Coltrain; a host of cousins, family, friends and adopted father, David Coleman.. In accordance with COVID 19 guidelines, the family is requesting no visitation at the home. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p. m., Wednesday, February 10, 2021 in the John Wesley Williams, Sr. Memorial Chapel of Williams Funeral Home, Inc., 821 North Main Street, Sumter, with the Rev. Cedric Anderson, officiating.. The procession will leave from the home at 1:20 p. m.
