Patricia Carolyn Williams was born on July 1, 1950 to the late Moses Sr. and Emma Williams in Newport News, Virginia. The Lord said “Come to My Mansion” on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Walter Reed Hospital, Bethesda, Maryland. Patricia accepted the Lord at an early age and joined High Hill Baptist Church, Dalzell, where she served the Lord faithfully until she relocated to Washington, DC in 1984. Patricia attended Rafting Creek Grade School and graduated from Ebenezer High School. She furthered her education at Morris College, Sumter, where she obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in History. While she obtained employment various places, she found her passion and touched so many lives at Our Lady of Perpetual Help School and retired from St. Francis Xavier, both located in Washington, DC. She was an advocate for teaching and truly loving what she did. Patricia made several amazing accomplishments that she was very proud of but none greater than being the wife of the late Samuel Williams (2001) and the mother of three beautiful daughters, La”Toya Demarce, Schamika Rashon, Shyreta Aikiya Williams and the proud grandmother of three, Shayne Terrell, Da’Najah Kamaya and Riley Dakota located in Suitland, Maryland. Tricia is loved by her surviving brothers, Moses Jr., Stanley (Virginia), Jimmy (Norina) and Maverick (Norma); sisters, Geraldine (Frank Norman, Jr.) Williams and loved deeply by Bonita (Arlyn) Alston, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In accordance with the COVID 19 guidelines, the family is requesting face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends during visitation from 5:00 – 8:00 p. m. at the home of her brother, 6450 Fish Road, Dalzell. Graveside services will be held 11:30 a. m., Saturday, March 6, 2021 at High Hill Baptist Church, 6750 Meeting House Road, Dalzell with the Pastor Donald Amis., Officiating, Reverend Ruth E. Robinson, Eulogist. The procession will leave the home at 10:50 a, m.
