On November 25, 2003, the Lord blessed Tiffany Witherspoon and Gregory Woods with their first born, Kahlia Nevaeh Woods. Kahlia lost her precious life on June 21, 2021. Kahlia graduated from Lakewood High School, June 3, 2021, as an early graduate of one year. Her plan was to become a registered nurse, but God had another plan in HEAVEN. Kahlia loved her family and friends. She was loved by many near and from afar. She had a smile that would light up the room with her presence that would make you feel at peace. God saw a perfect flower blooming and chose to keep it for himself. She was preceded in death by her maternal great-great grandparents, Shead Sweat Sr. and Mariah Murray; paternal grandfather, Earl Tisdale; paternal great-great grandparents, Naomi Woods, Bobby Woods, Susie Mae Witherspoon and Ronnie Witherspoon, Sr. Kahlia leaves to cherish her memories: mother, Tiffany (Shaun) Witherspoon; father, Gregory (Shekila) Woods; grandparents, Delthine Woods, Betty Sweat (Kenneth) Witherspoon, Linda Anderson (Reginald) Spann, Hazel (Dewitt) Clark; a sister, Shania Anderson; a brother, Shaun, Jr.; seven uncles, Kenneth (Jatika) Witherspoon, Antwan Sweat, Darien (Alicia) Sweat, Earl (Shonda) Woods, Cedrick (Deidra) Woods, Frederick Woods, Tony Woods; two special cousins, Emanii Woods and Ja’Quane Woods; a very special best friend, Shontavia Washington; two loving and devoted godparents, Tamara Mack and Maurice Grant; a host of other relatives and a multitude of friends. In accordance with the COVID 19 guidelines, the family is requesting face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends during visitation at the home, 70 Mystic Court, Dalzell. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a. m., Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at Bethesda Baptist Church, 4745 Highway 15 South, Sumter, with Pastor Ronnie Smiling, Sr., officiating. The procession will leave the home at 10:20 a. m. Burial will be in the Bethesda Baptist Church Cemetery.
