Peaches was the only beloved daughter of the late Bennie Robert Faulk and Estelle Gibbons. She was born July 13, 1957 in Flushing, New York. She transitioned into heavenly rest on Tuesday morning, November 23, 2021, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital in Sumter. Peaches is remembered for being a compassionate nursing assistant for decades, a gentle soul, a lover of family, and an avid grower of beautiful plants. She was a member of Faith Tabernacle in Sumter. She leaves to cherish her memory: a loving brother, Dr. Robert Faulk (Kaldejia “Dee”); a special uncle, Leonard Green; a special aunt, Zilla Green; a special sister, Valencia S. Gadson (Neal); a special cousin/brother, Tyrone Sampson; nephews, Ronald Gibbons III, David and Nehemiah Faulk; niece, Dr. Deborwah Faulk; great nieces, Genesis, Jasmine, Ahna, Raegan, and Kinsley, and a host of other relatives and friends. In accordance with Covid 19 guidelines, the family is requesting that face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends during visitation at the home 2736 Moss Creek Drive, Dalzell. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, November 30, 2021 – 12:00 Noon at Bradford Cemetery, Highway 15 South, Sumter, with the Rev. Robert Faulk, officiating. The procession will leave at 11:30 a. m. from the home.
