Wanda Genise Kelley, 71, died on Monday, June 5, 2023 in Columbia. She was born on November 3, 1951 in Sumter. She was the daughter of the late Dorothy Mae Jenkins Millican and Frank Millican Sr. She was preceded in death by her late husbands, Perry Bradley Sr. and Joseph Kelley Sr. Wanda was raised in Woodrow and attended St Jude Catholic High School. She received her Master's Degree from Morris College. She taught 30 years in the Lee County School District. Wanda is survived by: three sons, Perry (Sharia) Bradley Jr. of Columbia, Joseph Kelley Jr. of Travelers Rest, and Christopher Kelley of Columbia; five grandchildren, Shanti Kelley, Misun Kelley, Noemi Moss, Lamarcus Robinson and NyAsia Cutwright; one great-grandchild, Tru Austin; two brothers, Frank Brent Millican Jr. and Selwyn K Millican; one sister, Pia Millican; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and extended family members. The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation for the prayers and display of compassion and love from her family and friends. We will miss our beloved mom and her beautiful smile. In accordance with the COVID-19 guidelines, the family is requesting that face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends during visitations at the home, 692 Kingsbury Road, Sumter. Public viewing will be Sunday, June 11, 2023 from 1:00 – 6:00 p. m. in the John Wesley Williams Sr. Memorial Chapel of Williams Funeral Home, Inc., 821 North Main Street, Sumter. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p. m., Monday, June 12, 2023, Mt. Olive A. M. E. Church, 2738 Woodrow Road, Woodrow, with the Rev. Dr. R. L. Brown, Pastor, Eulogist. The Remains will be placed in the church at 1:00 p. m. for viewing until time of services. The procession will leave the home at 1:20 p. m. Burial will follow in the Joshua Baptist Church Yard Cemetery, 5200 Live Oak Road, Dalzell.
