Isido “Buster” Kind, son of the late Henry Kind Sr. and Sarah Choice Kind, was born August 31,1948 in Sumter. Buster left this physical life to be with his spiritual master on July 20, 2023 at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital, Sumter. Buster was a member of St. Stephens Missionary Baptist Church, Rembert. Buster, due to his personality was affectionately known as "Buck Shot," "Huck," "Hucka Buck", but most of all "Uncle Busta". Buster loved working. He was a master electrician at Ridgeway Electric Company and Carolina Electric Company for over 30 years before retiring. He also worked for Munn Oil Company for many years and ran his own lawn care service "Handy Man Kind". Buster was a jack of all trades. He could fix or repair anything. Buster had a heart of gold and would go out of his way to help anybody no matter who or what. Buster's favorite hobby was fishing and hunting, but most of all "Fishing". He fished practically everyday and he loved it. Buster had a great sense of humor, he loved to laugh and tell stories. He loved his family and was compelled to love, guide and contribute to the lives of many others that he accepted as his own especially all his nieces, nephews, and cousins Preceding Buster in death was his parents; two sisters, Annie Mae Douglas and Betty Kind Fountain; five brothers, Joesph Kind, Albertus Kind, Henry Kind Jr., Ravnel Kind, and Wesley Kind. Buster leaves to cherish his precious memories: his wife for over 40 years, Bessie White Kind; one daughter, Sirea Williams (Gary) Capers; two sons, Terence "Pete" (Patricia) Williams, Lawrence Itonial "Tony" Wells, all of Sumter; four grand children, Terence Isaiah Morris, Tavius Xavier Morris, Patience Sirea Williams, Dontrell Antonio Wells; three sisters, Mattie Kind Lindsey, Bertha Rembert, both of Sumter, Rosa (James) Bennett of Tamarac, FL; two brothers, Willie Kind of New Rochelle, NY, Marion Kind of Sumter; one uncle, Edward (Louise) Choice of Sumter; sisters-in-law, Pauline Abraham Kind of Hartsville, Shirley Parker Kind, Annie Vance, Polly (George) Johnson, Carrell (Charles) Davis all of Sumter; Amy Spears of Columbia; brothers-in-law, Thomas (Caroline) White Jr. of Columbia and James White of Sumter and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends In accordance with the COVID-19 guidelines, the family is requesting that face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends during visitation at the family home, 4120 Choice Court, Sumter. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 29, 2023, 12:00 noon at Trinity Missionary Baptist Church, 155 Wall Street, Sumter, with the Rev. Larry C. Weston, Pastor, Pastor Billy Bennett, Pastor of New Life Church, Dalzell, Eulogist. The Remains will be placed in the church at 11:00 a. m. for viewing until time of services. The procession will leave the family home at 11:15 a. m. Burial will follow in the St. Stephens Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, 1917 Boykin Road, Rembert.
