Al “Donnie” McCall, the beloved son of the late Willie James McCall, Sr. and Emma Gary McCall, was born January 13, 1965 in Dalzell. He departed this earthly life on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at his home. He attended the public schools of Sumter County. He leaves to cherish fond memories of his life: one daughter, Santia McCall; one son, Al Donnie McCall of Bishopville; two brothers, Charles (Mary) McCall and Ricky Lee (Elizabeth) McCall; one sister, Corine McCall; two grandchildren, Dakearion Bracey and Malayah Pollard; a companion of over 20 years, Tarsa Green; two close friends, Chuck and Chucky; a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, other relatives and friends. He was proceeded in death by his parents; one brother, Willie McCall, Jr.; one sister, Barbara McCall and a niece, Latasha McCall. In accordance with the COVID-19 guidelines, the family is requesting that face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends during visitation at his home, 4001 Camden Highway, Lot 16, Dalzell. Funeral services will be held 1:00 P. M., Friday, September 22, 2023 in the John Wesley Williams Sr. Memorial Chapel of Williams Funeral Home, Inc., 821 North Main Street, Sumter, with Elder Matthew Kelly, Jr., of Orange Hill Independent Methodist Church, Wedgefield, Eulogist, The Procession will leave the home at 12:20 p. m.
